Thank You, St. Jude – Gracias, San Judas de Tadeo

Thank You, St. Jude

I quit my job this past February.

I was offered a job in February, but it did not come through. I had hinted that I didn’t set out to be a teacher, and I wrote a post on it: Teacher by Default. For approximately 8 weeks, I lived on my savings; I job searched like if my life depended on it, and I read a lot, but I wrote very little.

As of last Thursday, I am employed again.

I a customer service representative at a great small company. It is only a temporary job, but I am grateful to be working again and to have a source of income again.

You’re probably asking yourself what this has to do with St. Jude. When I was unemployed, I would light a candle every day and pray to St. Jude to help me find the perfect bridge. I put my faith in St. Jude, and I have found a job.

Prayer to  St. Jude

Most Holy Apostle Saint Jude, intercessor in all difficult problems, grant me employment in a job where I can excel and provide for my family. Help me to make progress and improve my health and abilities. Ask the Holy Family for all this on my behalf. I will be ever mindful of this favor and always honor you as my special and powerful patron. Amen.

Have you prayed to St. Jude?

Gracias, San Judas de Tadeo

Dejé mi trabajo en Febrero.

Me  ofrecieron un trabajo en Febrero, pero fue sólo una oferta. No trabajé allí.

  1. You question: “¿Le has rezado a San Judas de Tadeo?” According to the Holy Scriptures we only should pray to the One True and Only One God. Also the son of God, Jeshua (Jesus Christ/Jesu) told others and learned his followers not to pray to him, nor any other human being, but only to his heavenly Father. In Scriptures it is also clearly written we should not bow down in front of statues or pictures.
Mat 4:10 The Scriptures 1998+ (10) Then יהושע (Jeshua) said to him, “Go, Satan! For it has been written, ‘You shall worship יהוה (Jehovah) your Elohim, and Him alone you shall serve.’ ”1 Footnote: 1Dt. 6:13.
    Also the apostle Paul exhorted to the people of the community that they should remember that there is one Elohim, the Almighty Divine Creator (Jehovah) and one mediator between Elohim, the God of gods and men, the man Yahushua or Jeshua (Chesu/Jesu/Jesus) the Messiah. We do not need any other person to mediate between God and man. Also the dead can do nothing for us because they have goen to dust and have to wait until to the return of Christ before they shall be taken out of the grave. Saint Jude is already long death and has already decaid.;
1Ti 2:5 The Scriptures 1998+ (5) For there is one Elohim,1 and one Mediator between Elohim and men, the Man Messiah יהושע (Jeshua), Footnote: 11 Cor. 8:6, Eph. 4:6, Mk. 12:29-34.
Job 14:1-2 RNKJV Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble. (2) He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not.
Job 14:10 RNKJV But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?
Job 14:21 RNKJV His sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, but he perceiveth it not of them.
Ecc 9:4-5 RNKJV For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion. (5) For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
Ecc 9:10 RNKJV Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

This is the same for St. Jude/Judas as for any other human being. We all end up in the same place as animals and plants. Puppets, carved or molten images or pictures are not going to help us.
Isa 26:14 MKJV Dead ones do not live; departed spirits do not rise. Therefore You have visited and destroyed them, and made all memory of them to perish.
Hab 2:18-20 MKJV What does an image profit, for its maker has carved it; a molten image, and a teacher of lies? For does the maker trust in his work on it, to make dumb idols? (19) Woe to him who says to the wood. Awake! To a dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver, and no breath is in its midst. (20) But Jehovah is in His holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before Him.
Isa 44:9-11 MKJV Those who make a graven image are all of them vanity; and the things in which they delight shall not help; and they are their own witnesses. They do not see nor know, that they may be ashamed. (10) Who has formed a god, or melted a graven image that is good for nothing? (11) Behold, all his companions shall be ashamed; and the craftsmen; they are from men. They shall assemble; all of them shall stand; they shall dread; they shall be ashamed together.
Psa 97:7 MKJV All those who serve graven images are ashamed, those who boast themselves in idols; all gods bow down before Him.

Ecc 3:18-20 MKJV I said in my heart concerning the matter of sons of men, that God might reveal them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts. (19) For that which happens to the sons of men also happens to beasts, even one thing happens to them. As this one dies, so that one dies; yea, they all have one breath; so that a man has no advantage over a beast; for all is vanity. (20) All go to one place; all are of the dust, and all return to dust again.

Psa 146:2-10 MKJV While I live I will praise Jehovah; I will sing praises to my God while I have any being. (3) Do not put your trust in princes, nor in the son of man in whom there is no salvation. (4) His breath goes forth; he returns to the earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. (5) Blessed is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose help is in Jehovah his God, (6) who made the heavens and earth, the sea and all that is in it; who keeps truth forever; (7) who carries out judgment for the mistreated; who gives food to the hungry. Jehovah lets the prisoners loose; (8) the Lord opens the eyes of the blind; Jehovah raises those who are bowed down; Jehovah loves the righteous; (9) Jehovah preserves the strangers; He relieves the orphan and widow, but the way of the wicked He turns upside down. (10) Jehovah shall reign forever, even your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise Jehovah!
